State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Program  Minimize 
The State Trade and Export Promotion Program is a trade and export initiative administered by the U.S. Small Business Association. Funded by federal grants and matching funds from the states, the STEP Program is designed to help increase the number of small businesses that are exporting and to raise the value of exports for those small businesses that are currently exporting. For 2012, Texas' approved project will focus on three key markets, the People's Republic of China, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Korea.
