Sept. 10: Women's Council of Realtors Annual Ceremony and Street Festival, Galveston GO TEXAN members are invited to sell their product(s) to an industry looking for gifts for their real estate clients. Build commerce relationships with contacts from the Texas Association of Realtors, Women's Council of Realtors and the Houston Association of Realtors. Discounted booth space is $150 for a 10' x 10' area. Electricity and tents will not be provided; please provide your own. For more information about the event, contact LoriAnn Robinson at (281) 467-6158. | | | Sept. 11: Dripping with Taste Wine and Food Festival, Dripping Springs Take advantage of a unique opportunity to sample local flavor at the beautiful Creekside Pavilion, as Texas wineries and Hill County food vendors showcase some of the best tastes the state has to offer. Booth space is free to members. There will be live music and entertainment, children's activities and a chili cook-off. Team Shooting, Food, Entertainment- Ray Wylie Hubbard and local talent on stage in our air conditioned tent. Family fun! Attendance is expected to be 5,000. In honor of the Texas shrimp industry and Galveston's island lifestyle, come celebrate at this inaugural festival on Galveston's historical Strand. GO TEXAN members are invited to sell their products from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Wineries are also invited to sample and sell Restaurant members are invited to participate in the Texas shrimp gumbo cook-off, with a first place prize of $1,000. There will be many GO TEXAN companies in attendance, including Texas wineries. Attendees sample wine, attend cooking demos, shop and enjoy local music. Booth fees are $175; electricity and health permits are extra. Deadline to sign up is Aug. 13. Vendor application can be obtained from event contact. GO TEXAN members are invited to sample and sell their products in this inaugural wine event. Attendance is expected to exceed 10,000. San Antonio Restaurant Association presents the Taste of San Antonio Expo to showcase San Antonio's broad range of outstanding culinary establishments in its unique downtown setting and to raise awareness of the restaurant industry and provide scholarships for San Antonio's culinary arts education programs. Thousands are expect at the Expo. The local and regional media campaign is expected to reach between 1.5 and 2 million people. There is a gate charge for the Expo of $40 which includes all food and limited beverage samples. GO TEXAN members are invited to participate. The GCC is made up of five Arabic countries - Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates - that are highly dependent on imported foodstuffs and have a combined population of approximately 12 million people with high per capita income levels. Approximately 90 percent of their food, food ingredients and feed products are imported. The product focus for this mission is meat, poultry, nuts/snacks, dairy products, canned fruits/vegetables, frozen foods, beverages and desserts/pastries. The event will be in Annapolis, MD, Raleigh, NC, and Austin, TX. Participation fee is $50 and you must register by Sept. 10, 2010. Now in its 10th year, this event is an excellent sales opportunity for GO TEXAN members. The celebration features live music, a barbecue cook-off, a street dance, arts and crafts booths, a children's game area, car show, sidewalk shows, a window decorating contest, prize drawings and raffles. Visit with hundreds of agriculture exhibitors displaying the latest technology in agriculture and attend educational programs conducted by the Ag Extension Service. South Texas Commodity Symposium, live livestock handling equipment demonstrations, live deer handling equipment demonstrations, ATV track,The Texas Tractor Pulling Championship and other activities to enjoy. This is a growing event that involves the entire community and the one thing we really need: MORE NUTS! That's why we are offering free vendor space to those with pecan products and to GO TEXAN members. This three-day event includes Trade Days in historic downtown Seguin where 100 vendors join a car show, pottery show, museum tours, entertainment, cook-offs, hat parades and other fun. This is the 17th year for this event. Llano Estacado celebrates the end of grape harvest by inviting the public to their facility to taste their wines. GO TEXAN members are invited to set up a free booth, and display and sell their products. Also, GO TEXAN staff will be onhand to distribute Texas wine information. GO TEXAN members are invited to sample and sell products at the 16th Annual Farmers Market Friends Hoedown, an annual fundraiser for the Dallas Farmers Market. This is a one-night event from 6:30-9 p.m. GO TEXAN members will receive a free 10 x 10 booth space. No health permit is required and electricity is free. Participants can rent a 6' table for $12, and metal folding chairs for $5. Rentals must be paid by check in advance to Farmers Market Friends: 1920 Abrams Parkway, #382, Dallas, 75214. Deadline for receipt of application is Sept. 30. Deadline to be listed in the invitations is Sept. 17. The event is free and TDA will be supplying shrimp. GO TEXAN food, wine and artisan members are invited to sample and sell at a free community event that celebrates food, wine and art. In 2009, this festival in Northwest Houston had more than 5,000 visitors. Self-contained booths are $75 and it is $125 for a 10' x 10' covered booth with table and chairs.
