Dig Up Great Dog Gifts for Canine Companions

When man's best friend deserves the best in return, a doggie bag filled with treats is a great way to show your love.

With help from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), your dog will be begging for the gifts of biscuits, bones, soaps and shampoos. Visit TDA's
GO TEXAN producers who know that a dog's life should be filled with fun.

"Our pets are like family," said Mary York, TDA's coordinator for fiber marketing. "Watching your pet get excited over a new toy or treat is fun. Plus, it's a great way to reward them for their companionship and loyalty."

Go here to learn about unique Texas companies creating must-have treats for your favorite canine.

GO TEXAN Style Tip of The Month

Keeping clothes free of lint and pet hair:

1) For machine washable items, remember to use a fabric softener sheet in your dryer. Not only will it provide antistatic protection and keep skirts from bunching, it will protect clothes by repelling lint and pet hair.

2) Consider carrying a pocket-sized lint brush or roller. You never know when you'll need to quickly touch up your outfit before that important last-minute meeting.

Contact us with your name and address to receive a complimentary GO TEXAN lint roller (while supplies last) and keep yourself looking polished in even the stickiest situations.
